Dial plan groups allow you to create collections of location-specific numbers and automatically associate them with the appropriate voice policies.

This enables your helpdesk to choose from the configured dial plan groups, select an available number, and ensure that the correct policies are applied to the users.

Instructions

  1. Name the dial plan group using the location and number/extension range (e.g. Montreal Numbers - +1 438-940-82XX).
  2. Select the applicable PSTN Connectivity Type for this group of numbers.
  3. Select the applicable Calling Type for this group of numbers.
  4. Add your number or extension ranges manually or import them using the text box.

    For Shared Calling, select the applicable policy from the Shared Calling Routing Policy dropdown.

  5. Customize which calling policies to show, require, and set as default.
  6. Save the dial plan group.
