How do I export CDRs from Avaya?
There are two supported methods to export CDRs out of an Avaya system.
The first method is to use our export script. This method is supported if your CDRs are stored on disk on your Avaya CM server and the formatting is set to unformatted
or expanded
.
The second method would be to export the CDR manually from your system and add it to our custom CSV CDR file.
Extract CDR data using the export script
To generate CDR data using the export script, you will need:
- A workstation on the same network as your Avaya system with PowerShell v7.0 or higher.
- The administrator credentials of your Avaya CM server.
- The CDR credentials of your Avaya CM server.
- The
ziro-export-avaya.ps1
script available in our public repository downloaded to your workstation.
Open PowerShell from your workstation and browse to the location of the ziro-export-avaya.ps1
file you’ve downloaded and run it.
The script will ask you for your Avaya CM FQDN or IP address, administrator username, and password. Once provided, the script will ask if you would also want to export CDRs. Follow the on-screen prompts.
You now have an
avaya_cdr.zip
file in the same folder as the script.
Upload the avaya_cdr.zip
file to PBX Assessment to provide usage to your customized report.
Extract CDR data using the custom CSV file
Export your CDR data manually from any CDR storage solution or your Avaya CM service.
Once exported, use the example CSV file and fill the columns with your gathered CDR information. Once completed, upload the results as a CSV file.
