The proxy server is in service to the following On-Premise business cases:

  • SBC Routing based on LDAP (AD) in Microsoft Teams
  • Updating AD for Extension Dialing for Auto-Attendants in Microsoft Teams
  • Hybrid CUCM and Microsoft Teams Dial Plan Management

How to Generate a Secret key and enable the connection between ZPM and the Proxy Server

  1. Connect to the Proxy server and go to System menu and select Proxy Server Connection Management.
  2. Connect to your Proxy server machine as an administrator, go to the System menu, and select Proxy Server Connection Management.
  3. On ZPM, click on Generate key.
  4. Copy and paste this new key into the Proxy server’s Secret Key field. Then, enter the URI of your Proxy server machine into the ZPM’s ZPM URI field.
  5. Click Save to complete the process.
