Release Notes - ZIRO Platform 10.5

Release 10.5 of ZIRO Platform is planned for General Availability March 2026

Create and Manage Resource Accounts

With the creation of Resource Accounts requiring Microsoft 365 Global Admin or User Admin roles, organizations often see their Voice Teams jumping through hoops to create them for their Queues and Auto-Attendants.

With the ZIRO Platform’s capability of creating Microsoft Teams Resource Accounts, administrators can now create them without having to escalate tickets to Entra Administrators. This provides your team with a smoother setup experience, fewer hoops to jump through, and faster time-to-value for your Microsoft Teams Phone environment.

ZIRO Administrator Role Required
Currently, only Administrators can create and manage Resource Accounts. In a future release, Role-Based Access Control will let administrators choose who can modify queues.

Application Role Required - User.ReadWrite.All
The User.ReadWrite.All permission is required for the platform to create Resource Accounts.

Create & Manage Microsoft Teams Call Queues

You can now create and manage Microsoft Teams call queues directly in ZIRO Platform, making it easy to update the settings that change most often.

With this release, admins can quickly:

  • Update greetings and announcements (audio or text-to-speech)
  • Add or remove queue members as teams change
  • Associate queues with Resource Accounts to enable PSTN calling
  • Configure key queue settings such as language and call routing behavior

This simplifies day-to-day queue management, and ensures callers always get the right message—and the right people—at the right time.

ZIRO Administrator Role Required
Currently, only Administrators can change call queues. In a future release, Role-Based Access Control will let administrators choose who can modify queues.
