This release of ZIRO Platform is planned for General Availability in July 2026
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for Reports, Automation, Migrations & Tenant Administration
Administrators can now assign granular, per-tenant roles and privileges to ZPM users and groups — covering Automation, Reports, Migrations, Teams user management (including Auto Attendant and Call Queue management), and tenant-level administration — instead of relying on the legacy all-or-nothing admin model. A new Tenant Administrator role allows delegating full control of a single tenant without exposing global settings or other tenants, and individual privileges like Automation or Reports can be delegated to helpdesk staff on a per-tenant basis without granting them global admin rights.
Voice App Misconfigurations Report
ZIRO’s new Voice App Misconfigurations report identifies broken Microsoft Teams Call Queue and Auto Attendant configurations that fall through the cracks in the Teams Admin Center — giving admins a clear, actionable path to investigate and resolve issues directly within ZIRO, rather than hunting through PowerShell scripts to find and fix dangling references left behind by deleted users or resource accounts.
Audio Conferencing Misconfiguration Report
Administrators can now catch and fix mismatched Audio Conferencing numbers directly in ZPM. When a user’s Usage Location changes after their initial setup — say, moving from Japan to the United Kingdom — their audio conferencing (PSTN dial-in) number doesn’t automatically follow, leaving meeting attendees with the wrong dial-in country. The new report surfaces every user with a Usage Location / Conference Number mismatch, lets admins reassign a matching conference number from a dropdown, update the Usage Location directly, ignore known exceptions, and set a default fallback for countries without an available conference number.
RingCentral Migration Assessment Dashboard
Planning a move off RingCentral and onto Teams Phone just got easier. ZPM can now connect directly to a RingCentral tenant to pull in users, devices, usage types, and call history, then surface it all in a new RingCentral Assessment Table — the same migration-readiness workflow ZPM already offers for Cisco. Admins can review each user’s migration status and select users who are ready to move directly into a bulk migration job.
Other Enhancements
- Voice App Misconfigurations Report
- Ability to export the report to Excel for offline review and sharing
- Policy Misconfiguration Report
- Report data now includes each user’s Shared Calling Policy Line URI, making it easier to audit shared-calling assignments alongside other policy data
Fixed Bugs
- Fixed an issue where an error message would appear when assigning a phone number to a user who is not fully licensed yet.
- Fixed an issue where assigning a license to a user may fail due to an invalid Usage Location.
- Fixed an issue where a bulk job may be stuck “In Progress” if ZPM restarts.
