PBX Assessment - CUCM Directory Number Report

The CUCM Directory Numbers Report is designed to help you easily migrate users from your Cisco PBX to Microsoft Teams Phone by automating the identification of your users’ phone numbers and helping you determine which numbers are used for what, leveraging a variety of AI-powered insights.

Move to Microsoft Teams Columns

The last two columns display the values which will be used to build the number and associated UPN in Microsoft Teams. The values are built using the following business rules:

UPN

  1. If CUCM enduserId exists in Entra ID (Azure AD):
    → Fetch the user from Entra and display their UPN.
  2. If CUCM enduserId does NOT exist in Entra:
    → Display the CUCM enduserId.
  3. If CUCM enduserId is not available at all:
    → Display the DN alerting name.
  4. If DN alerting name is empty:
    → Leave the field blank.

Number

  1. If translation rules are present and include the number on the row:
    → Display the transformed number.
  2. If no matching translation rule is found:
    → Display the original directory number (DN) value as is.
