PBX Assessment - CUCM Directory Number Report

This migration tool identifies users’ directory numbers and their locations, allowing you to stage them for migration to Microsoft Teams calling.

The table displays directory numbers (DNs) in your CUCM system. We utilize AI to match each DN with its corresponding user in the CUCM End User column, they are identified with a :white_check_mark:. If a unique match cannot be found, our AI will assist you by providing a list of candidate users that meet any of the following business rules:

  • DN matches the user’s agent line
  • DN matches the user’s primary extension
  • DN matches line 1 of a device owned by the user
  • DN matches line 1 of a device associated with the user
  • DN description contains the user’s first and last name.
  • DN alerting name contains the user’s first and last name.

Show/Hide Columns

When a unique user cannot be identified, use the Show/Hide Columns filter to display any columns that will help tie the users with their DN and location, and prepare them for migration.

Microsoft Entra ID columns

If ZPM is set up to communicate with your Microsoft tenant, the tool will also query Microsoft for a user match and check if they are licensed for Teams Phone System to ensure they are migration ready.

Move To Microsoft Teams

Once you have identified a group DN’s and corresponding users from the same location who are ready for migration, select their corresponding rows on the right. Then, click the Move to Microsoft Teams button to add them to a bulk job, which can be run to build the users in Teams.
