Move to Microsoft Teams Columns
The last two columns display the values which will be used to build the number and associated UPN in Microsoft Teams. The values are built using the following business rules:
UPN
- If CUCM
enduserIdexists in Entra ID (Azure AD):
→ Fetch the user from Entra and display their UPN. - If CUCM
enduserIddoes NOT exist in Entra:
→ Display the CUCMenduserId. - If CUCM
enduserIdis not available at all:
→ Display the DN alerting name. - If DN alerting name is empty:
→ Leave the field blank.
Number
- If translation rules are present and include the number on the row:
→ Display the transformed number. - If no matching translation rule is found:
→ Display the original directory number (DN) value as is.
Status Column
The status column indicates each number’s readiness for migration to Microsoft Teams, and can be one of five values: Ready, Not Ready, Ignored, Staged, or Migrated.
Ready — The directory number is eligible for migration. The associated user is licensed and ready to be assigned a number in Microsoft Teams.
Not Ready — The directory number cannot be migrated yet. Either the user is not licensed or not found in Teams.
Ignored — This directory number has been manually excluded from the migration.
Staged — The user associated with this directory number has been added to a draft bulk job and is pending migration.
Migrated — The user has Enterprise Voice enabled and is already configured for PSTN calling with a line URI in Microsoft Teams.
